As a former Semester at Sea voyager, Madison has been fortunate enough to have travelled the world with some of the world's most innovative and inspiring people including the members of the Unreasonable Institute.
Shortly after departing from the ship, Madison founded a series of projects in Kenya and Costa Rica working with local indigenous groups. Her projects were aimed at environmental preservation as a way of reducing respiratory illnesses among women and children in these communities.
In the Spring of 2014 Madison graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors in Political Science (special focus on International Relations and African Politics) and minoring in French and Business Administration. For the past year Madison has been living and working as a Cultural Ambassador and English Teacher in a remote town in Hokkaido Japan.
