As the Kumasi Regional Director, Baffour spearheads the VisualAid initiatives of increasing literacy, access to education, and workforce development training. His responsibilities include bringing together partners for our initiatives, programs, and enhancing community participation and providing sound advocacy to achieve our ambitious goals throughout Kumasi and spreading it throughout all of Ghana.
Before joining VisualAid, Baffour was the founder and C.E.O. of Glory Aged Foundation, an organization that provides homecare care services for the elderly living in Kumasi. He brings further experience as a past IT Manager with the Road Users Empowerment Centre and as the former IT Assistant to the Director of Ghana Adventist Health Service.Baffour, is dynamic in his technical abilities while staying dedicated to result driven approaches to research and implementation.
He began his education in Ahafo Ano South District in a town called Kunsu, in Ghana at the Kunsu Roman Catholic primary School. He further continued to Salvation Army Junior High School and had his Basic Education Certificate Examination in 2006. Then attended Kumasi High School and completed in 2009.He passed and furthered in the University of Education, Winneba Kumasi campus where he completed with honors in Information Technology I.T). Baffour seeks opportunities to read his master’s program in the USA. Entrepreneurship, education, technology and health care has being his major interest.
Baffour has a deep passion for entrepreneurship, education, technology and health care issues and social work. He has worked over the years to promote the welfare of the underprivileged in Ghana. He speaks English and Twi. His hobbies include reading, dancing, singing, playing soccer video games, giving entrepreneurship advice, reading and cooking.
